Our Privacy Commitment
Your data is automatically deleted 2 hours after payment. No exceptions. No hidden retention. No marketing database. We mean it.
What We Collect
When you use our AI career tools (cover letter generator or resume reviewer), we temporarily collect:
- Your email address (for delivery only)
- The content you submit (job posting, resume text, your background)
- Your name (for cover letter header)
- Payment information (processed by Stripe, we never see your card details)
What We Do NOT Collect
- No tracking cookies
- No advertising IDs
- No behavioral analytics
- No third-party data sharing
- No login accounts or passwords
Data Deletion Timeline
Standard Timeline (2 Hours)
All submitted data (resume text, job postings, generated content) is permanently deleted 2 hours after payment completion. This includes:
- Your submitted content
- AI-generated output (cover letters, resume reviews)
- Your email address
- Access codes and session data
Extended Access (26 Hours Total)
If you purchase extended access for $0.99, your data is retained for an additional 24 hours (26 hours total from original payment). After that, everything is permanently deleted.
No Server Logs
We do not log or retain:
- IP addresses
- Browser fingerprints
- Device identifiers
- Session histories beyond the 2-hour window
Our web server access logs are disabled for these services. Analytics are handled by Umami (privacy-focused, no personal data collected).
Third-Party Services
Stripe (Payment Processing)
We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe collects payment information according to their privacy policy. We never see or store your credit card details. Learn more at stripe.com/privacy
Anthropic (AI Processing)
Your submitted content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate cover letters and resume reviews. Anthropic does not train on or retain data sent via their API. Learn more at anthropic.com/privacy
Resend (Email Delivery)
We use Resend to deliver your cover letters and resume reviews via email. Your email address is used only for this delivery and is deleted along with all other data after 2 hours.
Data Security
While your data is temporarily stored:
- All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/SSL
- Data is stored on secure Oracle Cloud infrastructure
- Access codes are cryptographically secure (not guessable)
- No employee access to your submitted content
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request immediate deletion of your data (email support@harborprivacy.com)
- Access your data via the secure link sent to your email
- Know exactly when your data will be deleted (shown in the countdown timer)
Changes to This Policy
We will notify users of any privacy policy changes via email if they have active sessions. This policy was last updated on April 7, 2026.
